We are looking to hire a full time Digital Print Technician on a back shift to work in our Digital Print Department. This can be a very busy environment, therefore, the right candidate must be able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
· Operate digital print machinery coherently.
· Clean and maintain studio machinery.
· Work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines.
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for every job consistently.
· Understand and follow specific specifications for individual clients.
· Issuing job cards to production.
. Laminating printed jobs.
. Training provided to use Digital Cutting Machines (Zunds)
Assist Print Studio Manager with any other duties as necessary.
Skills and Personal Qualities:
- High level of attention to detail.
- Time Management.
- Ability to use your own initiative and problem solve.
- Good level of general computer skills.
- Liaison with staff members is courteous and professional manner.
- Attendance and timekeeping to a high standard.
- Commitment to overtime on occasions when/if required.
- Dress code and cleanliness is to an acceptable level.
Working hours are Mon-Thurs 4pm to 2am (hourly rate includes a 20% shift premium). Four weeks paid holiday per year, plus all statutory holidays. Free onsite parking. Company uniform. Nest Employer Pension Scheme.
