Full job description

Job Summary
Shape It Up Pilates is a boutique Pilates Studio offering small group Pilates Mat and Pilates Springboard sessions. Our clients are loyal and have developed a strong community. Building and maintaining this community is a vital part of the role as a teacher in our Studio.

We are seeking a friendly, dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our team and lead Pilates classes the following days and times:

Thursday

17.00-18.00 - Springboard Pilates

18.15-19.15 - Pilates Mat

Saturday

8.45-9.45 - Pilates

10.00-10.55 - Springboard Pilates

11.00-12.00 - Springboard Pilates

Springboard Pilates is similar to the Tower end of the Reformer. Full training can be provided for Pilates Springboard.

The ideal candidate will have a

Passion for Pilates
A commitment to developing your own teaching skills & knowledge
Have the hands on and communication skills to help members get the most from their sessions and progress
The experience to deliver multi-level classes with the ability of develop and offer alternative exercises for clients who maybe injured, recovering from injury or are very capable

Responsibilities
- Instruct clients on proper Pilates technique and form

- Use the booking app to check people in and complete any tasks requested

-Use hands on guidance in an appropriate way when necessary

-Assist with social media content taking videos and pictures of classes in action

- Feedback to the studio owner on any client issues

- Maintain Studio cleanliness and organisation

- Take part in the teaching team activities, training, providing occasional cover, social events

Qualifications
- Certified Level 3 Pilates Instructor with experience in teaching Pilates classes
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology
- Ability to educate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £35.00 per hour
