Partner Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects across sectors including medical, consumer, energy, and space, with a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Engineer role.
The Role
You’ll be part of a collaborative hardware and software team, designing and developing electronic and embedded solutions while working closely with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electronic and embedded firmware systems
- Capture requirements and develop technical solutions
- Support client projects and provide technical input
- Deliver high-quality, reliable designs
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar electronics design role
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ambition to grow into a Senior Engineer
Technical Experience
Strong experience in several of the following:
- Electronics design across analogue, high-speed digital, low-power, and audio circuits
- Wireless technologies, power transfer systems, and network design
- EMC design, compliance, and testing
- Battery-powered system design and optimisation
- PCB design for manufacture, including use of industry-standard CAD tools
- Hardware interfaces such as UART/serial, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
- Embedded firmware development (bare metal and/or RTOS environments)
- Product verification, validation, and approvals processes
Desirable:
- Experience with camera systems and video streaming
- FPGA/CPLD design and development
Requirements
- Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent)
- Clear documentation skills
- Full driving license and access to a car due to location and some business travel when required.
