Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person that is looking to get into the arboricultural world. The ideal candidate will have a passion for trees, can work well as part of a team, is hard working, and enjoys the outdoors. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing essential tasks that contribute to the health and aesthetics of our clients' trees and hedges.

Duties

Help perform tree pruning, felling, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as chainsaws and other power tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their tree care needs.

Experience

Proven experience in tree surgery or a related field isn't necessary but a bonus.
The ability to follow instructions and willing to learn on the job
Be polite and courteous to customers
Experience in arboriculture or gardening is advantageous.
A valid driving licence is essential or the ability to get to the yard in Barr Beacon at 7am every day.
