Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Education Recruitment & Tutor Engagement Coordinator to support the growth of Inclusive Tutoring Network, a small and expanding tuition company based in Saxilby. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills, with a passion for education and supporting young people through high-quality tutoring provision.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop our tutor recruitment processes, build a strong and reliable bank of tutors, and support the continued growth of the company. The successful candidate will play an important role in attracting, onboarding, and supporting tutors while helping ensure we can meet increasing demand across a range of educational settings.
The role is office-based, working 3 days per week, at a rate of £14 per hour. Start date - ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage tutor recruitment processes to support company growth and tutor availability.
- Advertise tutoring opportunities across recruitment platforms, social media, and local networks.
- Screen applications, arrange interviews, and conduct initial candidate conversations.
- Support safer recruitment procedures including compliance and onboarding checks.
- Build and maintain a strong bank of tutors across multiple subjects and key stages.
- Maintain regular communication with tutors regarding availability, placements, and ongoing opportunities.
- Support tutor retention and engagement through positive relationship management.
- Assist with marketing recruitment campaigns through social media and community outreach.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, and tutor records.
- Support operational planning to ensure tutor coverage can meet future demand.
- Work closely with management to identify recruitment priorities and staffing needs.
- Help develop systems and processes to improve recruitment efficiency and tutor experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within recruitment, education, administration, or a customer-facing role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident speaking with candidates over the phone and through video interviews.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently within a small business environment.
- Good IT and administrative skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices is advantageous.
- Previous experience within tutoring, education, or school settings is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to company growth.
