Early Stages Teacher (Ages 4–6)
Stagecoach Performing Arts Chichester
We’re looking for a wonderful Early Stages teacher to join our team at Stagecoach Chichester.
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and understands that introducing 4–6-year-olds to the performing arts is about so much more than teaching songs, dances and drama games. It’s about building confidence, encouraging creativity, developing friendships and making every child feel seen, valued and successful.
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and full of ideas. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering fun, engaging lessons that include a balanced mix of singing, dance and drama, keeping our youngest students excited, challenged and smiling every week.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience teaching young children (Early Years, primary education or performing arts).
* Is creative, energetic and able to adapt activities to suit different children and learning styles.
* Plans lessons thoroughly and comes prepared every week.
* Is reliable, punctual and professional.
* Uses their own initiative and is happy working independently while being part of a supportive team.
* Has excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
* Understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
* Has a genuine passion for inspiring young people and helping them grow in confidence.
Essential Requirements
* Experience teaching children aged 4–6 years.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
* The right to work in the UK.
We’d love it if you also have:
* A qualification or training in performing arts, musical theatre, dance, drama, music, primary education or Early Years.
* Experience teaching singing, dance or drama.
* A First Aid qualification (although this isn’t essential).
At Stagecoach Chichester we’re passionate about giving every child the opportunity to develop confidence, creativity and life skills through performing arts. We want our classes to be fun, welcoming and inspiring, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
If you’re someone who loves seeing children grow in confidence, enjoys bringing energy and imagination to every lesson and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send us your CV along with a short covering letter telling us a little about yourself and why you’d be a great fit for Stagecoach Chichester.
