We are seeking a Display Site Sales Manager to have joint responsibility for our display site based at The Greenhouse People, Dobbies Garden World, Boclair Road, Milngavie, Glasgow, G62 6EP - one of our 30+ UK display sites.
In this role, you will not only be responsible for driving sales but also ensuring the site looks visually appealing and well-maintained. If you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service, when achieving a sales, this could be your perfect role!
You will:
- sell our full range of high-quality greenhouses and garden buildings direct to customers
- use your passion for customer service to provide an exceptional customer experience to help customers purchase THEIR perfect building - yes, you really can help dreams come true!
- take pride in the display site – ensure that the site and buildings are well maintained and look their best. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required - amongst other things, there is a lot of glass to clean!
- use IT systems with confidence
- have a high standard of spoken and written English, to communicate professionally and effectively - face-to-face, on the telephone and via email
- normally work a four day out of seven rota, involving every second weekend (0900-1700 Monday-Saturday, 1030 - 1630 Sunday)
- work with the other Display Site Sales Manager or on your own - self-motivation is a must. No people management required
- occasionally work at other display sites as part of your training or to cover holidays etc.
In return for being the face of The Greenhouse People you will receive:
- a full-time starting salary of £22 500 increasing to £24 800 on successful completion of probation
- uncapped commission - typically a minimum of £3 500 per annum
