Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner Fixer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and fixing dry lining systems in various building projects, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Duties
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting dry lining boards accurately according to project specifications
- Fixing plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and partitions using appropriate hand and power tools
- Ensuring all installations are level, plumb, and securely fixed in accordance with schematics and technical drawings
- Assisting with the preparation of surfaces, including plastering and masonry work as required
- Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers to coordinate tasks effectively
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Reading schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of dry lining systems
Skills
- Proven experience in dry lining installation or related construction trades
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, cutters, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience using power tools including drills, saws, and screw guns
- Skills in plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and working with schematics are desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople

Pay: £16.70-£26.65 per hour
