Warehouse Supervisor – PM Shift
Location: Fradley in Lichfield
Hours: PM Shift 12.00 to 22.00 hrs (Full Time)
Salary: £32,175.00 annum
Due to continued growth and expansion, Walkers Transport is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy PM operation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this hands-on role will be responsible for supervising the afternoon warehouse operation, ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded and processed accurately and on time to meet strict network deadlines. Forklift experience is essential as it is a very fast paced environment.
You will lead by example, motivate your team and ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and lead the PM warehouse team.
· Ensure all inbound and outbound palletised freight is handled accurately and efficiently, using scan guns.
· Allocate workloads and monitor team performance throughout the shift.
· Ensure all network departure deadlines are achieved.
· Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
· Carry out regular warehouse checks to ensure quality and compliance.
· Support, coach and develop warehouse operatives.
· Liaise with transport, customer service and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
· Investigate and resolve operational issues as they arise.
· Maintain accurate warehouse records and reporting.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
· Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader role.
· Experience within a pallet network or fast-paced distribution environment (preferred).
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
· A valid FLT licence is essential. (with experience of driving)
