About the role:
As a Governance Apprentice, you will support the team that helps ensure Ocean Housing operates effectively, responsibly and in line with regulatory requirements. You will gain practical experience across governance administration, risk management and performance monitoring, learning how these functions support good decision-making at every level of the organisation.
You'll be involved in a variety of activities including:

Supporting Board, Committee and governance meetings

Preparing agendas, meeting packs and reports

Taking notes and drafting meeting minutes

Maintaining action logs, trackers and governance records
-
Assisting with diary management and meeting arrangements
-
Supporting risk registers and assurance activities
-
Helping collate and present performance information and reports
-
Working with Microsoft Office systems to organise and communicate information
-
Developing professional skills through structured apprenticeship learning.

Essential Requirements

Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
-
Ability and commitment to complete a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship

Basic understanding of office administration and record keeping

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and basic Excel

Willingness to learn about governance, risk management and performance reporting.
