We’re looking for a Trainee Guide to join our warm, purpose-led team at Nido and Casa Montessori; someone who’s calm, observant, and genuinely passionate about supporting children to learn through exploration and discovery.

Purpose of the Role

This role is at the heart of daily life in our classrooms. As a Montessori Trainee Lead Guide, you’ll help create a calm, purposeful space where every child feels safe, curious, and eager to learn. You’ll observe closely, introduce activities that spark interest, and support each child to grow in confidence and independence - always with patience, respect, and gentle guidance.

You’ll also take care of the environment itself, ensuring it stays beautiful, organised, and inviting. You’ll work closely with your colleagues, sharing ideas, supporting one another, and building warm relationships with children and families alike.

If you already hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, that’s a real advantage, but we’re also happy to train the right person and support you as you work towards your Montessori Diploma. We’ll give you time and encouragement to complete your training, and we’ll invest in your growth as an educator and a valued member of our team

I take real satisfaction in preparing calm, organised spaces that invite curiosity and independence - tidying a shelf, setting up materials, or quietly adjusting something to make it just right.

We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people, to keep them safe and to practise in a way that protects them.

All references will be thoroughly checked, and we will apply for a DBS update service and a DBS equivalent from any country the applicant was in prior to the UK and within the last 5 years.
