Key Responsibilities: Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Gas Boilers & Heat Pumps

Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas

Job: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive (based on experience) + Company Van + Fuel Card + Benefits

C Brookes Plumbing, Heating & Renewables is seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team. We work across Bristol and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality domestic and light commercial installations, with a focus on gas boilers and renewable heating systems, including air source, ground source and exhaust air heat pumps.

C Brookes Plumbing, Heating & Renewables is a leading design and installation company, known for delivering quality, highly efficient heating systems tailored to each customer’s needs. Our reputation is built on expert knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. Whether it's a boiler swap or a full renewable system, we take pride in doing things properly — with no shortcuts.

Installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas boilers and air source, ground source and exhaust air heat pumps.
System diagnostics and fault-finding.
Ensuring all work meets the latest standards and complies with current regulations.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Accurately completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications preferred, but not essential – we are happy to support the right candidate in gaining these.
Experience with heat pump installations (air source, ground source or exhaust air) is a plus – training can be provided if needed.
Strong knowledge of domestic heating systems and controls.
Full UK driving licence.
A proactive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
