Full job description

We have available a position for a carer. The role is for 4 shifts (28 hours minimum).

The caring hours are 07.30 - 15.00 and 15:00 - 22.30, working every other weekend.

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, preferably within home care or assisted living environments. However this is desired and not essential.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Assist with mobility and transportation, including supporting clients to appointments or social activities.
Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to relevant parties.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organised environment for clients at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a caregiver role or similar position is preferred but not essential

Experience in home care, care homes, or assisted living facilities is desirable but not essential.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

The ability to follow care plans
