Full job description

Overview
The successful candidate will support the partners in providing a range of Accounting and Tax services to the firms’ clients. This will include:

Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders,
Preparing draft corporate tax computations,
Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services,
Ensuring that the accounting records for clients are maintained accurately and are kept up to date,
Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns and MTD ITSA returns,
Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements, and
General administrative duties to provide support to the partners other employees within the office.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

A good work ethic
A minimum of 4 year's experience in a UK accounting practice.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency in online accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
