- Generate, maintain and update accurate, engaging, user friendly documentation for our Air-to-Air Refuelling and Weapons Carriage & Release systems that adhere to EATON MSD guidelines and standards. Documentation and Service Bulletins created will also be expected to comply with applicable customer contract requirements and international technical authoring specifications.
- Work as part of a Technical Publications/ILS team
- Produce, edit and maintain technical documents, to meet customer and contract requirements, including Equipment Maintenance and Operation manuals, Data Modules,
- Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins & Information Letters
- Ensure all technical documentation is produced to required quality, timeframes, authoring specifications and standards including review of material authored by other technical publishers/writers and outsource vendor partners
- Complete technical verification and validation of source documentation with subject matter experts, internal or external partners and developers to validate content for use in technical publications
- Interface with subject matter experts to produce and maintain current documentation where required."
- GCSE at a minimum, A-levels preferred
- 7 years of experience in Aerospace technical authoring or ILS
- Competent in Simplified Technical English, iSpec2200, S1000D
- Teamwork, English language skills
