Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Upholsterer. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where technical proficiency and manual dexterity are essential. Prior experience as an Upholsterer is essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on work and skill development within a professional setting.

Duties

Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment to complete fabrication and assembly tasks.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience with mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, sewing, or fabrication processes.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is important.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical fitness suitable for standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks over long shifts.

This role provides valuable practical experience in upholstery within a supportive team environment. Applicants should be committed to safety standards and eager to develop their technical skills further.

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
