Job Overview:
Due to our recent expansion we are seeking a motivated and organised Business Administration Apprentice to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office environment. You will work closely with our General Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager and Managing Director, and report directly to the General Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and professional communication skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative experience within a dynamic and fast paced workplace.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and emails with professional etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining physical and digital filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office (mainly excel)
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required
- Ensuring the office remains tidy and well-organised at all times
- Handling basic clerical duties including typing, emails
What We're Looking For:
· Training will be provided but a basic working knowledge of an office environment is preferable for this role.
· Proficiency in computer skills; you will be using Microsoft Office (Excel, Adobe, Word, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint.
· Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good phone etiquette.
· Previous clerical or administrative experience will be considered an asset.
