Full job description

The Plymouth Fitness Company is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Fitness Instructor to join our coaching team, delivering outdoor group fitness sessions in Central Park, Plymouth.

This is a flexible, part-time role for someone who enjoys coaching people of all fitness levels in a supportive, outdoor environment. As our sessions are inspired by military-style training, a Military or Public Services background is a requirement for this role.

What you'll do

Deliver engaging, safe and effective outdoor group fitness sessions for participants of all abilities.
Coach with energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring members exercise safely and confidently.
Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both existing members and new trialists.
Help uphold the high coaching standards and community spirit that The Plymouth Fitness Company is known for.
Be available for a minimum of 3 sessions per month on a flexible monthly rota.

Essential requirements

Level 2 Fitness Qualification (minimum).
Military or Public Services background.
Experience leading group fitness sessions.
Confident, enthusiastic and approachable coaching style.
Willingness to coach outdoors in all weather conditions, throughout the year.

Session times

Our monthly rota is based around your availability. Sessions take place:

Monday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Wednesday: 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Sunday: 9:00am – 10:00am

Applicants should be available for at least three sessions per month.
