Established in 1987, Oxendale's Building Services have been operating primarily as a Mechanical and Plumbing company, our sustained growth plan over the last 5 years has lead to a company Turnover in excess of 14 million delivered by an in house team of 50 employees and key sub-contractors, we are currently look to recruit a number of different positions within the company to continue this growth in the next 5 years, positions available include:
M&E Project Manager (Electrical Bias) - 1 position
Electricians (2-3 Positions)
Electrical Improvers/Mates (2-3 Positions)
We are expanding our company to deliver in house Electrical installations, as part of this we are seeking a proven M&E Project Manager with an Electrical Bias to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing Electrical & Mechanical teams within commercial sector, primarily within the Education, Health, Defence, stadia, care & other commercial sectors.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical Project mangagment expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Applicants should possess strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
Duties
- Lead end-to-end project delivery within commercial environments
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Administer and manage projects under JCT & NEC contracts including Variations, Applications, early warnings, compensation events, and programme submissions to client/main contractor
- Proactively manage project risks, issues, and change control processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, safety, quality, and commercial stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical, safety, and quality expectations
- Support bid and proposal development where required
- Experience using SIMPRO & ACC AUTODESK CONSTRUCTION CLOUD systems would be a benefit
Skills
- Solid electrical experience within commercial environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks/schemes efficiently
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds / ONC/HNC/ Degree
- Driving Licence
