Job Summary

Starting Salary for days: £15/h.

Holiday pay.

Mileage paid.

Experience in care required.

Location: Kings Lynn and surrounding areas.

Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel (within reason).

We do not offer sponsorships.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Carers to provide high-quality support and assistance to people within their own home.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of those in their care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity are maintained at all times. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support clients in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
Administer medication as prescribed, following strict protocols and documentation procedures
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients conditions
Assist with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Communicate effectively with the client, the familiy, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Skills

Full UK driving licence is essential
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is essential
Following personalised care plans
Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
Organised and reliable with a professional approach to caregiving
Can work in a home with dogs and other pets.

This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering compassionate care and making a positive impact on people's lives. Applicants should possess the necessary skills and experience to provide respectful, person-centred support in a caring environment.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
