We are seeking a skilled Canine Hydrotherapist to join our team
Fourpaws Canine Hydrotherapy & rehabilitation based in snettisham, Norfolk, have an amazing opportunity for the right person to dip their toe Into this amazing career of working with dogs, putting their own stamp on this fantastic job in an amazing location.
About the Role: You will deliver safe, structured hydrotherapy sessions in our underwater treadmill.
Daily responsibilities include preparing the treatment area, reviewing patient notes, carrying out sessions, updating records, and communicating clearly with owners about their dog’s progress.
You will need to be able to manage your own workload, stay organised, and adapt to changes in the daily schedule. Some days are steady, others require flexibility as caseloads shift or dogs need additional support.
You should feel confident working independently as well as part of a small team, using your initiative to keep sessions running smoothly and maintaining high welfare and hygiene standards throughout the centre.
Requirements :
MUST HAVE : Level 3 Hydrotherapy qualification (minimum)
Working towards Level 4 or already qualified Advanced treadmill skills or willingness to train
Confident, calm dog‑handling Good communication with owners and colleagues The ability to work flexibly, manage time well, and handle a varied caseload
This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who has the vision, passion and scope and would be willing to build the business up to its full potential
The ideal candidate needs to be hardworking and reliable, driving licence is a must as the main location is snettisham near Kings Lynn but travel to Holt sometimes is required
Have experience of working with large and small dogs of all breed
Excellent communication skills and customer service to engage with clients is a must.
Computer experience desired but not essential.
The successful candidate will need:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in canine hydrotherapy
- Must be underwater treadmill trained to advanced level
- Or level 4 in canine hydrotherapy
- Or working towards a relevant qualification( soon to qualify)
- Registration with NARCH (or willing to become registered)
Hours will include some evenings and Saturdays however this can be discussed, but flexibility is a must
This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis to start, but will lead to full time, subject to passing the standard six-month probation period. Rates of pay are negotiable depending on qualifications and experience but start at £14 PH
