Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Prepper/Appraiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and preparing vehicles for resale or repair, ensuring they meet quality standards and are accurately appraised. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be essential in evaluating vehicle condition, performing necessary repairs, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage, wear, and overall condition using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform minor repairs, cosmetic touch-ups, or prepare vehicles for appraisal
- Accurately document vehicle conditions, damages, and repair needs for appraisal purposes
- Assist in the cleaning, detailing, and staging of vehicles to ensure they meet presentation standards
- Collaborate with appraisers to provide detailed assessments that inform pricing and resale decisions
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working with various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills for assessing vehicle condition
- Prior experience in vehicle repair, detailing, or appraisal is preferred but not required
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move vehicles or parts throughout the shift

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
