Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced skilled and dedicated Bench Joiner to join our esteemed joinery workshop in Bramling, Kent. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, precision in craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Roles and Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.
Execute all aspects of purpose-made joinery with high attention to detail whilst considering the most efficient method of construction.
Maintain excellent problem-solving and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Operate a variety of woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Uphold health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
Exhibit good communication skills and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, ensuring both individual and team tasks are completed efficiently.
Maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop.
Manufacture all joinery in accordance with internal quality standards.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in purpose-made joinery.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.
Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Working knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations.
Good timekeeping and a strong desire to meet delivery deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Relevant certifications or qualifications in joinery (minimum NVQ Level 2).

Position Details:

Full-time position with regular overtime available in line with client programme requirements (basic 40 hour working week with an earlier finish on Friday afternoon).
Annual leave 29 days per annum (inclusive of bank holidays).
Salary / hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.

Annual birthday day off (in addition to your annual leave entitlement after 6 months service).
Located in our extensive operations, including a state-of-the-art 23,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility and finishing studio.
