Full job description

Dr Molony & Partners are recruiting for a part-time Care Navigator/Receptionist to work at The Canterbury Health Centre and Sturry Surgery. Excellent customer care skills are essential. Previous General Practice experience is preferred but full training will be provided. Basic IT skills are highly desirable. Must be prepared to undertake a variety of tasks and be flexible to change your working hours to suit the needs of the Practice.

The general duties for this role are(not exhaustive list):

Meet and greet patients
Assist clinical team with triage of patients
Ensure telephone calls are answered promptly
Book appointments
Process repeat prescriptions
Action tasks sent through from the clinical team
Handle general patient enquiries on telephone
Monitor email inbox's and deal with enquiries accordingly
Open incoming post
Assist administration team as and when required
Keep reception area clean and tidy
Liaise with clinical team on patient matters whilst maintaining strict confidentiality
Undertake any other duties as required and agreed with the Partners/Practice Manager
Assist with secretarial duties such as clinic typing

The hours for the role are:

Monday 8am-6.30pm

Wednesday 8am-4pm

Thursday 8am-2pm

Total - 23 hrs
