Chef de Partie

Location: The Worlds End
Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Chef de Partie with 1–3 years' experience in a similar role to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes across all areas of the menu while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard across all aspects of the menu.
Demonstrate experience working across multiple kitchen sections, including pastry, grill, and larder.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your assigned section, ensuring it is clean, organised, and fully stocked.
Monitor and manage station inventory, reporting stock shortages and minimising waste.
Supervise, support, and help develop junior members of the kitchen team.
Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with food safety regulations and company procedures.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team.

Essential Requirements

1–3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
Experience preparing and cooking dishes across multiple kitchen sections, including pastry, grill, and larder.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.
A good understanding of food safety procedures; Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
High standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
