About the Role
Perrin Myddelton is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to join our growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to manage a varied residential property caseload while delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
The successful candidate will be confident handling transactions independently from instruction through to post-completion and will have a strong understanding of residential conveyancing procedures, regulatory requirements, and client care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New-build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Right to Buy transactions
- Help to Buy and other scheme-related matters
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, developers, and other solicitors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements.
- Maintain accurate file management and case records.
- Deliver a high standard of client care throughout the transaction process.
- Support business development initiatives and help strengthen professional referral relationships.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer.
- Minimum 5 years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in case management systems.
Desirable
- Established relationships with local agents, brokers, or introducers.
- Experience handling higher-value or complex residential transactions.
