Full job description

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our adidas contract based at Marston Gate, Bedford. You’ll take ownership of a dynamic operational team, ensuring performance targets are met while creating a motivated, engaged, and safe working environment. You’ll play a key role in driving continuous improvement and delivering results across our site.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,304 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Leading, motivating, and coordinating your team to achieve daily KPIs and operational targets
Allocating workloads, managing headcount, and controlling overtime to meet demand
Monitoring team performance, absence, and development, taking action where needed
Driving a strong health & safety culture and maintaining high housekeeping standards (6S)
Engaging with colleagues on the shop floor and promoting a positive, team-focused culture

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Leadership experience within a fast-paced warehouse or operational environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
A proactive, hands-on leader who leads by example and drives continuous improvement
