About the role
As Senior Traffic Management Engineer, you will play a leading role in planning, managing and improving the movement of people, goods and services across the Isle of Man. Acting as the Government’s principal professional adviser on traffic management, network performance and parking, you will help develop the strategies, policies and investment programmes that keep the Island moving safely, efficiently and sustainably.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a transport environment unlike any other. From busy commuter routes and historic town centres to rural roads, coastal corridors and internationally recognised events such as the TT and Manx Grand Prix, no two days are the same. You will lead major traffic management initiatives, develop practical solutions to complex network challenges and work closely with colleagues, emergency services, transport operators, event organisers and local communities to deliver positive change across the Island.
