Full job description

RENCH FARM, DRUMCLOG

SALARY: £50,000pa

Role and responsibilities:

Manage end‑to‑end processing of monthly and weekly payrolls for 850+ employees.
Manage and oversee Payroll team.
Oversee the CIS payroll for subcontractors, ensuring correct verification, deductions, and submissions.
Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and CIS regulations.
Manage all statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP.
Oversee payroll systems within QTS Group Ltd, liaising with software providers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and enhance accuracy.
Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliations, reporting, cost analysis and audit information.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC rules, and CIS scheme requirements.
CIPP qualification
Familiarity with integrated HRIS and finance systems.
Proven experience managing high‑volume, multi‑frequency payrolls.
Proficiency with payroll software and strong Excel skills.
