Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Independent Practice Educator to join our healthcare team. This role involves guiding and supporting students and newly qualified practitioners in developing their clinical skills within a professional environment. Duties
- Provide comprehensive clinical supervision and mentorship to students and early-career practitioners, ensuring adherence to best practices and organisational policies.
- Deliver practical training sessions focused on patient care techniques, ensuring learners develop confidence and competence in their skills.
- Assess learners’ progress through direct observation, feedback, and evaluation, tailoring support to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, assessments, and progress reports in accordance with organisational guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated learning experiences that promote holistic patient care.
- Stay updated with current clinical guidelines, anatomy knowledge, and educational methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality training.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting, demonstrating clinical competence and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, enabling effective teaching of relevant concepts.
