Sales Representative, Scotland West (Glasgow) / Field Sales

Location: Glasgow, Scotland, UK
Working hours: Full-time (37.5h/week)
Work model: Field-based, covering the Scotland West territory (company car provided)

Are you a driven, relationship-focused sales professional looking to bring innovative products to market? Do you want to play a key role in growing a leading tobacco alternatives portfolio? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

As our new Sales Representative , you will be part of our UK Sales team and play an important role in growing Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Next Generation Products (NGP) portfolio, including XQS, across independent retailers in Scotland West . You will work closely with independent retailers and your Sales Manager to build lasting partnerships and drive sustainable sales growth . This is a great opportunity to develop your sales career and gain exposure to an innovative product portfolio in an international organization.

What your day will look like

In this role, you will typically focus on:
Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with independent retailers, promoting and growing sales of our NGP portfolio across your territory.
Delivering engaging product demonstrations and training on XQS and other NGP products, becoming the retailer's go-to expert.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences, and sharing insights with management to sharpen strategy.
Developing and executing a strategic territory plan, prioritizing activities to meet and exceed sales targets.
Processing orders accurately and maintaining detailed sales records, reporting regularly to your Sales Manager.

What you'll bring

Experience in FMCG or grocery sales, ideally with exposure to NGP or tobacco-related products.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret store-level data and use CRM systems effectively.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proactive, resilient approach in a competitive market.
A full UK driving licence, required for regular travel across the territory.
Prior experience in a field-based sales role is an advantage but not essential.

For this role, the Annual Base Salary is circa £35,000, depending on experience, plus a 10% annual bonus, corresponding to the level of the position, expected experience and responsibilities.
