Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and are perfect for those looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience
- Assist with organising events or special functions when required
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods using strong time management skills
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is desirable but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and stocked at all times
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
