An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care Partnership for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Clinical & Care Governance Team as a Quality and Clinical & Care Governance Team Leader.

This senior governance role will provide leadership, expertise and coordination to support the delivery of effective clinical and care governance, quality improvement and assurance activity across Fife HSCP. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, operational teams and multidisciplinary colleagues to strengthen governance systems, support learning and improvement, and ensure high-quality, safe and person-centred care across services.

The postholder will lead and support the Clinical & Care Governance Team and contribute to a wide range of governance and improvement activities including:

clinical and care governance assurance
quality improvement and service development
adverse event learning and risk management
data analysis and governance reporting
preparation for external scrutiny and inspections
supporting implementation of governance frameworks and improvement plans
facilitating learning and improvement across services.

The role requires excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills, alongside the ability to manage complex and sensitive issues across a wide range of stakeholders and services. We are looing for someone with a “can do” attitude who is motivated and passionate about care governance and quality improvement.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification and have significant experience in governance, quality improvement, clinical audit, risk management or service improvement within health or social care settings. Experience of leading teams, facilitating organisational change and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary services is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about improving quality, strengthening governance and supporting safe and effective care across Fife HSCP.

You will be required to travel throughout the Fife area regularly.
