The role:
The position is for an Endoscopy Decontamination Unit (EDU) Technician at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The core purpose of the role is to decontaminate, disinfect, assemble, store, and distribute reusable flexible endoscopes, following manufacturer instructions and ensuring safe use for patients across clinics, theatres, and other treatment areas.

Being multiskilled across all areas of EDU operations
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

Experience in working in an EDU or Sterile Services Unit (SSU)
