Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Operator/Computer Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong computer skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our organisation’s efficiency.

Duties

Inputting data into various software programmes with precision and speed, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Managing and updating databases to ensure accuracy and completeness
Organising files and documents both digitally and physically
Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping
Responding professionally to phone enquiries following proper phone etiquette
Supporting team members with clerical duties as required
Ensuring data confidentiality and security at all times
Performing routine checks to verify data accuracy and rectify discrepancies

Experience

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Demonstrable computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Experience in data entry or clerical roles is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
Familiarity with office equipment and software applications related to data management
