Full job description

Due to expansion in the facility in a thriving market, with new bays being built, we are looking for general labourers to join us.

All roles require a reasonable level of fitness and a willingness to work in occasionally harsh conditions. Basic English Language is required.

Regular overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates. Opportunities to progress possible. Nightshift is paid at 1.3 rate

Typical tasks include:

· Responsible for masking flanges for blast/de-mask/re-mask.

· Responsible for blowing down and cleaning out any excess grit.

· Responsible for stripe coating of all required areas.

· Responsible for setting up (pipe spools) safely while considering access for the painter.

· Responsible for preparing painted items for final inspection before leaving the building.

· Responsible for touching up areas with correct paint, correct colour, and ensure area for touch up is clean before applying paint.

· Responsible for making sure that areas for touch up are blended into existing painted surface to make touched up areas as unnoticeable as possible.

· Responsible for ensuring all areas are maintained in a clean and tidy state. All items within the area assigned must be set up, masked, stripe coated and touched up.
