Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee materials handling, streamline processes, and manage a dedicated team. The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management while maintaining safety standards and fostering continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including materials handling, shipping & receiving, and inventory control
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high performance and safety compliance
- Oversee forklift operations, ensuring proper training and certification for all operators
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory and process transactions accurately
- Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize delivery schedules and freight management
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows
- Conduct regular mechanical inspections of equipment and oversee heavy lifting tasks safely
Experience
- Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of logistics operations
- Demonstrated team management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with 3PL operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy lifting safety protocols
