Full job description

Responsibilities include:

Installation, maintenance and repair of various high end commercial automated systems.

Including, but not limited to, the following;

- Automated gates, including swing, sliding and cantilever variations.

- Automated barriers

- Experience of civils installation

- Access control, including GSM, IP and standard hardwired systems.

- CCTV systems

The successful candidate will be multi-skilled, provided with a company vehicle and would be expected the represent the company in a well presented approach. Dealing directly with the client during the installation process, you would be required to install or repair to our Company's high standards.

You will report back to the Operations Manager on all works completed.

Good prospects and career progression for the right candidate.

Skills, Education and Experience

As a minimum we would require experience in the above mentioned areas and a full driving license.

Preferred experience in:

BFT, Beninca, FAAC, Parking Facilities, Videx, Paxton, HIK Vision, IP CCTV Systems.

Preferred qualifications include:

CSCS Card or ECS card

Safety related qualification - DHF/Gate Safe

D J Byers Security Systems Ltd have been established 40 years and have developed an excellent history of providing high quality Controlled Access, CCTV & Security Solutions to a varied portfolio of Clients.

You will join our team of senior engineers and apprentices in providing committed customer service to our many existing and potential new clients, by undertaking site visits for installations, service and maintenance.

On Call 1 in 5 weekends (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday 08.00 to 18.00 – primarily telephone support)

D J Byers Security Systems Ltd is a progressive and expanding company and this is a great time to join our Team who are engaging in exciting and challenging projects. You would be based from our new offices in Castleford, West Yorkshire which incorporates a manufacturers certified demonstration/training suite.

Salary: from £40,000/annum dependent on experience.
