Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced Food Runner to our restaurant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in food preparation and culinary arts, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Assist with meal preparation, including plating dishes and preparing garnishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring that tables are set up correctly.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Help with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and assisting cooks during busy periods.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with their meals.
Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of food handling and delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking orders or making inquiries.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for culinary arts and food preparation is highly desirable.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
