Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Servers to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and service standards.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
Ensure guest needs are met throughout their visit, providing attentive and courteous service
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Assist with food preparation or setup during busy periods as required
Follow all food safety regulations and health & safety procedures diligently

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
Experience with guest services, including handling special requests or complaints professionally
Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to develop culinary knowledge is appreciated
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
