Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fencer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with fencing projects and supporting various construction tasks on-site. in the Wrexham & North Wales Area. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and basic skills in construction-related trades. This paid position offers valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry and opportunities for skill development.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the installation of fencing, including measuring, marking, and setting out work areas
Handling and operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Supporting team members with general labouring duties such as lifting, moving materials, and site preparation
Assisting with carpentry, masonry, roofing, or other construction tasks as required
Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
Following health and safety guidelines to minimise risks on-site
Supporting specialised trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or fabrication when needed

Skills

Basic knowledge of different types of fencing is advantageous.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong physical fitness for manual labour tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as required

Training

Must Hold in date CSCS card

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience within the construction sector while contributing to diverse projects. Applicants should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhere strictly to safety protocols.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
