Job Summary
This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours for Bourne's leading taxi firm. We will provide a taxed and insured, fully compliant South Kesteven licensed taxi or private hire vehicle and a handset at no cost to the driver.

We are seeking reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidates will possess excellent and safe driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle in accordance with traffic laws, company policies and council policies
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including routine checks and basic maintenance tasks
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or heavy items when necessary
- Navigate using GPS or maps to ensure the most efficient routes are taken
- Communicate effectively with passengers
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes
- Use basic software to see details about fares
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving or delivery driving is advantageous
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in passenger transport or delivery services
- Valied South Kesteven District Council taxi badge
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers
- Good knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to ensure vehicle safety standards are met
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
