About Us

Palmers Garden Centre, part of the Palmers Group, is a well-established independent family run Garden Centre and Cafe based in Yeovil, Somerset. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our busy, industry-based finance function.

Reporting to our senior bookkeeper, this is a hands-on bookkeeping role suited to someone with experience in a fast-paced business environment. This is a great opportunity to join us as we build our internal finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
Monitor and correct staff timesheets
Process supplier invoices accurately and on time
Upload and code invoices using Xero.
Provide general finance and bookkeeping administration support

About You

Proven experience in an industry or practice bookkeeping role
AAT Level 3 qualified, or working towards
Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
Well organised with strong attention to detail

Salary from £30,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours)
