About the Role
Ultrasound Centre Croydon is seeking a qualified, confident and patient-focused Ultrasound Sonographer to join our growing private clinic.
We are open to applications from sonographers looking for part-time, full-time or sessional work. The role may suit a sonographer already working within the NHS, private practice or another ultrasound clinic who is looking for additional sessions, as well as candidates seeking a more regular part-time or full-time position.
We welcome applications from sonographers who are independently competent in obstetric ultrasound, general ultrasound, or both. Candidates do not need to perform every type of scan listed, but must be able to work safely and independently within their own verified scope of practice.
Initially, working hours may include evening sessions, daytime sessions and/or weekend sessions, depending on the candidate’s availability and clinic demand. As patient demand grows, there may be an opportunity to increase the number of sessions or develop the role further.
Location and Travel
The clinic is conveniently located in central Croydon, approximately two minutes’ walk from East Croydon Station.
Applicants living in Croydon, within approximately five miles of the clinic, or within easy travelling distance are preferred. Applicants living further away are also welcome to apply, provided they have reliable travel arrangements and can attend all agreed sessions punctually.
