Today, the family-owned group has 21 unique luxury country houses and coastal retreats, each hand picked for their individuality. We are currently recruiting for a Head of Spa to oversee the spa and wellness operations within the hotels located within the mainland. The role will require extensive travel to the hotels on the mainland. This is a new role created as part of the ongoing transformation of Hand Picked Hotels and the elevation of our spa and wellness offering within Hand Picked Hotels.

This role can be based from our office in London, Kent or in one of our hotels as will require extensive travel.

About the Role

About the role:

The Head of Spa will oversea all aspects of spa operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services and experiences to guests. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of spa treatments and wellness practices.
As a leader within the Hand Picked management team it is essential you are able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of our company Brand Values and these are displayed in the way they go about their role at all times.
The Head of Spa will be responsible for supporting the spa leadership team with maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving revenue growth through effective marketing and business development strategies.
Be responsible for building strong business relationships with the Hotel General Managers and Spa and Health Club managers across our luxury and events division, these hotels are located across the UK.
Responsibilities will include collaborating with the spa leadership and team management, ensuring an outstanding guest experience is delivered creating magical and memorable experiences for our guests.
This role will involve marketing and business development for the spa, including the diary management and yielding the business levels appropriately.
This will involve working with the local hotel teams to ensure we establish and share best-practice, maximising revenues in all areas of the spa.

About the you:
To be considered for this role, it is essential you have multi site Spa Management experience with a luxury hotel or corporate hotel group.
It is essential you are able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, business acumen and spa knowledge within a hotel spa environment.
Have previous experience of developing and uplifting standards within a luxury spa operation whilst consistently exceeding guest expectations.
Be able to create a robust sales and marketing plan to increase revenue streams across the spa operations.
Demonstrate excellent commercial acumen for driving sales and across all the spas for both treatment and retail sales.
Hold a level 4 in beauty therapy.
Have knowledge of how to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Be a role model to all colleagues who displays our Brand Values in the way they always go about their role.
You must be able to drive and have access to your own transport.
