Our client is looking for a reliable, technically capable professional who can provide hands-on IT support and help keep their systems running smoothly and securely. The Role
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support across the organisation, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring systems and networks are operating effectively. You will be a key point of contact for internal users, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.Responsibilities will include providing first and second line IT support to staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, setting up and configuring devices, systems, and user accounts, maintaining and updating IT documentation and asset registers, supporting the rollout of new systems and technologies, and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in an IT support or technician role, strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365, experience with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach, strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience with Active Directory, Azure, or cloud-based environments would be advantageous. Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are desirable but not essential.
