Full job description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in sampling operation.
Recording of data into QC system.
Inspection of bananas and pineapples (when trained).
Working with other members of the QC team.

KEY SKILLS:

Good numerical skills.
Good communication skills.
Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.
Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
The ideal candidate must be motivated, flexible and a good team player.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Full-Time Hours – 40 hours per week.
Hours of Work – 7.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Quality Manager UK.
The position will be based in Basingstoke, but some travel to other Fyffes locations within the UK will be required.
The role involves lifting heavy boxes up to 23kg.
Full training will be given.
Some degree of flexibility will be required in terms of shift times and hours of work, in order to meet the demands of the business.
This is a salaried, monthly paid position.
This position is offered on UK local Terms and Conditions.
This position is not eligible for relocation support.
Short-listed candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK and will need to meet such requirements before they commence employment.
