Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Night Guard to oversee the safety and security of multiple premises during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a secure environment, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding effectively to any incidents. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are attentive, dependable, and capable of working independently during night shifts.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
Monitor CCTV footage continuously to observe any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential vulnerabilities and acting accordingly.
Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
Record all security-related incidents accurately in logs and reports.
Enforce access control procedures by verifying authorised personnel and visitors.
Maintain a visible presence to deter unlawful activities and reassure staff and visitors.
Follow established protocols for emergency situations, including fire safety and medical incidents.

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance or security roles is desirable.
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
Strong awareness of loss prevention methods and security procedures.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Basic first aid skills are advantageous.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods during shifts. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a responsible role that combines vigilance with proactive security measures, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property throughout the night hours.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
