We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Fitter to join our events team. This role involves the transportation, installation, and dismantling of event lighting equipment, and materials at various venues. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in repairing and installing, lighting tower and associated equipment, as well as a valid driving licence and a flexible attitude toward working hours.

Load, transport, and unload lighting equipment and materials to and from venues.

Assemble and dismantle event lighting setups and on-site repairs.

Ensure all equipment is fitted securely and safely according to event plans and safety regulations.

Conduct pre-event checks on lights, vehicles, and materials.

Drive company vehicles (vans/lorries) to event locations locally or regionally.

Work closely with the event production team to ensure installations meet quality and design standards.

Assist in warehouse duties, including maintaining tools and equipment.

Follow health & safety procedures at all times.

Provide excellent customer service when liaising with clients on-site.

Your Profile:
- Previous experience as a Driver/Fitter, with experience within the event industry, exhibitions, and construction industry.
- Full, clean Class 1 driving licence
- Ability to read and understand event setup plans or technical drawings (desirable).
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Flexible with working hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and travel as required.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach on-site.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Computer skills in systems and excel.
- Preferred: Forklift, telehandler, or other plant licences (advantageous but not essential)
