Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fixtures across residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plumbing and related trades. Applicants should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with specifications.
Tiling would be a strong advantage
Fit bathrooms by installing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, and associated fittings.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they escalate.
Measure accurately using basic maths to ensure precise fitting of components.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and fixtures safely to facilitate installation processes.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Adhere to health and safety regulations during all aspects of work on-site.
Assist with the assembly of plumbing components or bathroom furniture as required.
Drive company vehicles when necessary for transporting materials or equipment.

Skills

Proven experience in plumbing, with knowledge of pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system repairs.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations during installations.
Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering quality workmanship while maintaining high safety standards on site.
